Hilton Central School District’s teaching staff spent a beautiful Saturday morning on May 15 volunteering throughout the community on what is known as Teacher Care Day – an annual event in May that gives teachers the opportunity to give back. After meeting at Hilton High School, groups headed out to various sites, including St. Georges Episcopal Church and Hilton United Methodist Church, where volunteers spruced up the landscaping, and Tops Plaza where staff collected donations and filled a bus for the Hilton-Parma Emergency Food Shelf. Back at the High School, staff sorted the many donations that were collected at each of the schools in the days prior.
