The Greatest Show in Byron-Bergen
Byron-Bergen’s fourth-grade students proudly presented the “B-B Big Top Circus” for all elementary students and staff on June 17, 21, and 22. The students spent the last month preparing choreography and classic circus acts such as juggling, tight rope walking, contortionists, clowns, strong men, and magicians. The students created and developed two-minute circus acts set to their music of choice. Each act used creative props to pantomime elements of a circus, such as exotic animals, fire twirling, and plate spinning. The audience was captivated and cheered loudly after each performance.
In a year of challenges, the fourth-grade teachers wanted to find an opportunity for all their students to shine. The event was made possible thanks to all the families that helped students prepare for the shows and those who donated materials and treats for the circus celebration. From stage crew to ringleader, the “BB Big Top Circus” gave each student a role to blossom in, making it the greatest show in Byron-Bergen.
