Hoch appointed Taylor principal

The Spencerport Board of Education has officially appointed the next principal of Taylor Elementary School.

Danielle Hoch, who comes to Spencerport from the Greece Central School District, will fill the open leadership position, after Telcie Pincelli was named the new director of humanities. Her start date has yet to be determined.

“Ms. Hoch impressed the interview committee with her passion for literacy and strong commitment to the academic and social emotional needs of our students. We’re excited for her to join the district and believe that she will be a strong advocate for the Taylor learning community,” said Ty Zinkiewich, superintendent of schools.

Her career spans more than 22 years in education as an elementary classroom teacher, literacy coach, reading specialist and assistant principal. More recently, she served as an elementary principal in the York Central School District then as an assistant principal in Greece at Longridge Elementary School.

Hoch earned a bachelor of science in elementary education from Buffalo State College, master of science in literacy education from Roberts Wesleyan College, and certificate of advanced study in educational administration from SUNY Brockport.
