CCCSD board member honored
The Churchville-Chili Central School District Board of Education recently recognized and honored long-time board member, Michael Iacucci.
During the June 27 BOE meeting, Mr. Iacucci was presented with plaques from the Monroe County School Board Association and the Churchville-Chili District for his 18 years of service on the board. Mr. Iacucci’s term recently ended as he elected not to run for another term.
“Mike has been a leader, role model, mentor and confidant during his tenure,” said BOE President Kathy Dillon. “He always puts the needs of the students and staff first.” During his time on the Board he assisted with hiring superintendents and was actively involved in many capital projects and acquiring property for long-term use by the district. Mike was fully engaged in the planning and completion of the high school renovation, performing arts center and stadium, elementary playgrounds and pool, along with countless improvements to roofs and HVAC systems.
