Identifying a Churchville-Chili athletics mascot

Churchville-Chili Central School District is in the process of determining a mascot to be used for Churchville-Chili athletics and more. The district believes it’s essential for this new mascot to reflect the spirit and values that define it. To accomplish this, the Churchville-Chili athletic committee – made up of students, faculty and board representatives – will work with a design company, Rickabaugh Graphics, to ensure the new mascot embodies the district’s strong sense of unity, resilience and pride. While the district is looking to add a mascot that can be used for athletic purposes, they will remain the Churchville-Chili Saints, with an orange and black color scheme.

The district is asking for feedback from Churchville-Chili families, staff and community members throughout the decision process, beginning with design concepts. To submit an idea for the new mascot, visit the Athletics page on the district website and select the survey on the “Mascot Search” page. Ideas should be submitted by February 2, 2024.

Things to keep in mind when submitting an idea include:
•Does the mascot align with the district’s core beliefs?
•Is the mascot inclusive? Please be cognizant that every member of the CCCSD community should feel represented by this mascot.

The district looks forward to this collaborative journey and the opportunity to celebrate Saints pride.
