Brockport HS students inducted into NHS

Thirty-four students from Brockport High School were inducted into the district’s chapter of National Honor Society (NHS). On January 8, 2024, the inducted students were joined by their NHS advisors, District administrators, and current members of NHS to celebrate their scholastic and extra-curricular achievements and receive their certificates.

This year’s keynote address was delivered by Jamie Abrams, Professor of Law and Director of the Legal Rhetoric Program at American University Washington College of Law. Jamie’s address inspired students as she broke down each of the four pillars of the National Honors Society: scholarship, service, leadership and character and how students can embody the four pillars throughout their everyday interactions.

The new inductees are: Ikran Abdi, Zenib Alsahar, Lillian Bishop, Hannah Bonczyk, Genevieve Contrera, Helayna DelaCruz, Alice Dickerson, Alana Dobson, Carter Dunn, Lily Harradine, Deanna Herring, Tristan Hollamby, Garrett Horn, Raegen Horschel, Daityn Huss, Audrey Kalish, Daniel Kucmerowski, Avery Kumar, Mairi Linden, Grace LaRocca, Jane Lloyd, Mia McAfee, Aiden McDaniels, Isabella Mesiti, Lily O’Mara, Lennon Pardun, Lucas Rogers, Sam Schultz, Ty Sherman, Kelsey Spade, Kailey Steele, Ella Waite, Keira Wilson, and Ella Zelazny.
