Brockport High School’s Drama Club presents An Evening of Ian McWethy One Acts, at the Brockport High School Auditorium on April 25 and 26 at 7 p.m.
Students will perform Bad Auditions by Bad Actors and Last Day of School, which are one act plays from playwright, Ian McWethy. Bad Auditions by Bad Actors follows a casting director who has one day to find the leads for a community theater production of Romeo and Juliet but proves to be impossible due to a peculiar group of actors. Last Day of School follows a renegade student who takes over the morning announcements and proposes that everyone do something bold. Through a series of interconnected scenes, misconceptions, grudges, and secret crushes come out into the open in hilarious and surprisingly touching ways.
The cast of Bad Auditions by Bad Actors includes: Kiersten Gingrich, Jake Thomas, Jane Lloyd, Angelina Mihm, McKenna Young, Izaak Smith, Mai Kreel, Bailey Amoroso, Nakoa Cotton, Shelby Neilans, Camryn Grillo, Kai Bonisteel, Braeden Christensen, Lainey Downes and Mackenzie Sargis.
The cast of Last Day of School includes: Nakoa Cotton, Maxine Kemblowski, Ziyad ElOuardighini, Jane Lloyd, Raelin Gingrich, Shelby Neilans, Mia Davis, Ava Ruggles, Riley Farrell, Jade Morales, Cameron Jensen and Heidi Feuerherm.
