Juanita Bishop earns CCCSD’s Outstanding Senior recognition

Churchville-Chili High School Senior Juanita Bishop was recently presented with the Dr. Michael C. O’Laughlin Outstanding Senior Recognition.
This prestigious honor is awarded annually to one exceptional senior from each high school in Monroe County, recognizing outstanding leadership, dedicated service, and academic excellence.
Juanita was recognized alongside seniors from throughout the county during the 30th Annual Outstanding Senior Award Reception and Recognition Dinner at Monroe 2-Orleans BOCES this May.
During her time at Churchville-Chili, Juanita displayed a strong commitment to academic excellence. She challenged herself to take high level courses with the goal of learning as much as possible. Juanita is also an active athlete, competing on the Saints tennis and basketball teams throughout high school.
She was inducted into the National Honor Society and the World Language Honor Society for displaying excellence in Spanish. Juanita will graduate Cum Laude and will be recognized as an Urban League Black Scholar.
“Juanita exemplifies the very best of Churchville-Chili. Her dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and service reflect the values we strive to instill in all our students,” says Dr. Carmine Peluso, Superintendent of Schools. “We are incredibly proud of her achievements and know she will continue to shine as she pursues her passion for nursing. Juanita truly embodies what it means to be a Saint.”
