LCpl Amy Folwell threw out the first pitch at the Red Wings game on July 5. She is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served six years, including a combat deployment to Iraq in 2007 as part of the groundbreaking Lioness Program with 1st Battalion, 2nd Marines. This event was part of the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation’s year-long celebration of the 250th.
