Churchville-Chili High School will bring the stage to life this fall with “Queens,” a one-act play by Kristen Doherty. Performances are scheduled for: Friday, October 17 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, October 18 at 2 p.m.; and Saturday, October 18 at 7 p.m.
This intense, no-intermission play follows King Henry VIII as he is trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by a sinister Fool and ghostly Courtiers. Within this gilded cage, he is forced to relive the wrongs he committed against his queens, mistresses, and the people of his court for eternity.
The production features 19 talented students in the cast and 10 students on crew, who have worked together to bring this gripping story to life.
