In the sixth year of competition in the Dig Pink game, the Hilton Girls Varsity volleyball team beat Churchville-Chili in a tough contest, 25-22, 20-25, 25-15 and 25-17.
The Hilton Girls wore pink to raise awareness of Breast Cancer as well as to raise money. All the money raised through donations, a 50/50 raffle and a raffle will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Hilton Coach Kevin Hunt remarked: “I think my girls played really hard. They came out with fire; a couple of calls from the refs set them back emotionally. Churchville was well-coached and played tough but we didn’t quit.”
