Benjamin Olson, a 2012 graduate of Brockport High School, was an avid soccer player from age 10, playing during high school on varsity teams under coach Ron Zorn.
Following graduation, Olson joined the US Marines and is currently serving in Okinawa. Fellow service personnel recently held a soccer tournament in which Marines, Navy and Air Force members participated. Olson’s team, FC 1/8, from the 1st Battalion, 8th Marines, went undefeated in the tournament.
Team members often play scrimmage with children from the area.
