Junior Patrick Mathews rebounded from a 2-6 first set loss to win 6-4, 6-0 at third singles and help Churchville-Chili secure a 4-3 boys tennis victory over Pittsford Sutherland – the first time they have ever beaten them.
Andrew Freeman won at second singles in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 and Dan Davis did the same at fourth singles 6-0, 6-3.
The second doubles team of seniors Matt Greer and John Iacucci had their match extend to a third set before they prevailed 6-0, 4-6, 6-1.
The Saints evened their overall record at 1-1 with the win.
