Fourteen-year-old gymnast Hannah Cubiotti of Spencerport won the vault competition at the USA Gymnastics Level 6 State Championship held May 3 and 4 in Edgewood, NY. Hannah competed in the Senior C Division and earned the highest vault score of 9.275. The Bright Raven Gymnastic Team member also placed third in floor exercise with a 9.425 and second all around totaling 36.55.
Twelve-year-old Maeve O’Brien of Rochester competed in the Junior D Division and placed third in vault with a score of 9.225. She is a member of the Bright Raven Gymnastics Team of Gates.
