Blue Devils’ Olson sets pool record

Senior co-captain Nick Olson set a new pool record by swimming the 200-yard individual medley in 2:00.40 and won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.19, but host Brockport fell to Fairport 104-81 in boys swimming.

Junior co-captain Nate Bartalo took first place in two individual events – the 50-yard freestyle in :23.10 and the 100-yard butterfly in :55.61.

Brockport’s Anthony Guerrieri won the diving competition with 176.50 points and the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Bruce Kane, Bartalo, Brandon Amthor and Olson won with a time of 1:31.55. Amthor also had a pair of second place finishes in the 200 and 500 freestyle events.
