Bright Raven Gymnastics competition results
More than 900 gymnasts represented 26 gymnastics clubs in the Women’s International 2014 Nickel City Classic held in West Seneca February 6-8 where Bright Raven Gymnastics of Gates earned one first place and five second place team awards with several team members winning individual all-around honors.
The Level 3 team captured first place with Bright Raven gymnasts taking first all around in all three age divisions. Eight-year-old Camryn Trybuskiewicz of Chili was first (38.875) in the Junior A Division. In the Junior B Division, McKenna Hussar of Spencerport was third (37.50). In the Senior Division, McKenna Kiesal, age 11, of Chili took first (39.05). Teammates Jessica Pelkey of Caledonia placed second (38.70), Katrina Daly of Spencerport finished third (38.50) and Addison Glozer of Spencerport was fourth (38.075) in the same division.
Bright Raven’s Level 4 team placed second behind Niagara Gymnastics of North Tonawanda. In the Senior B division, Graciela Vieira of Churchville captured first place (37.85).
The Level 5 Team also brought home the second place team banner finishing just behind Summit Gymnastics of East Aurora. In the Junior A Division, Liliana Sack and Kylie Rozzi, both of Spencerport tied for third all around (36.35). Madison Mass of Churchville placed third all around (35.85) in the Senior A Division and Bailee Schirano of Spencerport was fourth (36.275) in the Senior B Division.
Bright Raven’s Level 7, 8 and 9 teams all took second place to the home team Orchard Park Gymsters. Morgan Vanderhoof of Chili and Gabrielle Costner of Gates competed in the Level 7 Senior B Competition and placed first (37.40) and second (36.725), respectively. Emily Field of Greece placed fourth all around (36.35) in the Level 7 Senior A Division.
In the Level 8 Senior competition, Julianna Gatto of Gates was third (34.875). In the Level 8 Junior competition, Indya Richards of Gates placed second (936.475), and Savannah Thesing of Chili was fourth (35.90). Madison Conn of Gates placed second all around (35.25) in the Level 9 competition.
