Entering its fifth season, Challenger Baseball offers area youngsters ages 5 to 18 who have a physical or developmental disabilities the chance to take the field to play ball.
Over the years, the Kiwanis Club of Brockport has supported the program through donations to help supply shirts, hats and equipment. Above, Kiwanis Club members present a check to Challenger Baseball organizer Mike Meyers to help with this year’s program. Challenger Baseball participants learn the fundamentals of baseball as well as aspects of teamwork and sharing. Every participant bats and plays the field.
