Harley Allendale Columbia Head Swimming and Diving Coach Peter Mancuso of Spencerport was chosen the 2016 Section Five Class D Boys Swimming and Diving Coach of Year by his fellow Class D coaches at sectionals.
Mancuso’s Wolves finished the dual meet season 12-0 and won the Genesee Region League Meet Championship.
His team placed second this year in Class D sectionals, their third runner-up finish in the last five seasons and the fifth runner-up plaque the Wolves have earned under Mancuso’s tenure. In his 18 year career, Mancuso has earned the Class D Coach of the Year award six times.
This season, Mancuso also achieved the Boys and Girls Genesee Region Swim League coach of the year. The Lady Wolves were 10-0 during Genesee Region Competiton and won both the Genesee Region League Meet Championship and the GR/NO Girls Intersectionals Championship meet.
Mancuso currently works in his 18th year as Athletic Director at The Harley School and 14th at HAC Athletics.
