Crist, Wooding, Regelsberger, Montanez pace Saints
Brandon Crist, Kyle Wooding, Tyler Regelsberger and Christian Montanez each won two individual events and were part of two relay teams to lead Churchville-Chili to a 104-81 victory over Honeoye Falls-Lima in boys’ swimming. The Saints finished first in every race of the meet.
Crist won the 200-fresstyle in 1:50.59 and the 500-freestyle in 4:50.39 while Wooding took the 50-freestyle in :24.04 and the 100-butterfly in :58.28.
Regelsberger touched first in the 200-individual medley in 2:06.41 and the 100-breaststroke in 1:06.24. Montanez was first in the 100-freestyle in :51.44 and the 100-backstroke in 1:00.56.
The 200-medley relay team of Montanez, Regelsberger, Wooding and Paxton Healy opened the meet winning in 1:49.76—almost nine seconds ahead of second place.
Regelsberger, Healy, Austin Eckrich and Crist won the 200-freestyle relay in 1:40.58 while Crist, Eckrich, Wooding and Montanez easily finished first in the 400-freestyle relay in 3:36.60.
