During its meeting on May 24, the Brockport Community Rowing Club appointed board members, finalized bylaws and began drafting financial procedures.
The mission of the Brockport Community Rowing Club is to serve as a community-based and volunteer-driven organization, dedicated to developing rowing for a diverse population, while accessing the Erie Canal and gaining an appreciation for this historic resource.
The Board is currently working through the 501(c)3 process and is making plans to build a dock and a boathouse near Commissary Park at The College at Brockport. Funding has been received through grants and donations.
