Brockport Central School District invites the community to celebrate its new artificial turf athletic field during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 14.
The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Dahn Walrath Memorial Stadium. Community members are also invited to stay for the football game against Brighton which follows at 7 p.m.
The artificial turf athletic field was part of the capital improvement project approved by voters on May 16, 2017. Stadium turf boasts many benefits, including increased outdoor use for all students, the elimination of mowing, striping and chemical usage, more level and consistent field conditions and additional opportunities for school and community groups.
