Blue Devils swamp Eastridge
Sophomore Nick Dambra had two individual first place finishes and was part of two winning relay teams and Brockport took the top three spots in three different events as they defeated Eastridge 115-66 in boys swimming.
Dambra easily won the 200-freestyle in 1:57.39 – over seven seconds faster than second place – and the 100-freestyle in :51.24. He was part of the winning 200-medley relay team with sophomore Mitchell DiFante, junior Colby Riexinger and sophomore Alex LeMere, who timed out at 1:51.71 and the 400-freestyle relay squad with LeMere, junior Alex Scaglione and junior Sam Coyle finishing the meet in 3:48.40.
Scaglione won the 50-freestyle in :24.92 to lead Brockport to a top-three sweep with junior Logan Kime and senior Dakota Bechtold.
Bechtold was first in diving with 206.40 points with junior Zach Turlington and freshman Zachery Eichas finishing two-three for the Blue Devils. And LeMere touched first in the 500-freestyle in 5:33.31 while Scaglione and DiFante took second and third for Brockport.
Riexinger also was tops in the 100-backstroke in 1:02.35.
