The Hilton Area Swim Team (HAST) announces the addition of Mark Klier, M.D. as the new head coach. Dr. Klier (pronounced “clear”) is a pediatrician and proprietor of Ogden Pediatrics in North Chili. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a clinical instructor for the University of Rochester School of Medicine.
As a former college-level, competitive swimmer and coach of the Syracuse Chargers, Dr. Klier brings with him an extensive knowledge of USA swimming and a thorough understanding of the mechanics of competitive swimming. His passion for the sport, combined with his love of physics, will be a winning combination for the swimmers of HAST.
HAST is a competitive swim team, and a member of USA Swimming. They swim under sanction of Niagara Swimming and the Genesee Valley Swim League. Swimmers of all abilities, ages six to 18 are welcome to join the HAST. Those interested in learning more about HAST are invited to attend a free swim trial, May 28 through June 6, at Merton Williams Middle School in Hilton.
