The College at Brockport has brought a host of assistant coaches onto the athletics staff for the 2019-2020 season. Joining the Green and Gold is a combination of Brockport alums and some talented newcomers.

Lynd joins the staff after playing professional soccer for the past three years in the United Soccer League where he started over 35 games. Prior to his professional career, Lynd played for the University of Pittsburgh where he was the all-time leader in minutes played, goals against average, consecutive shutout minutes and saves per game. LaPietra officially joins the staff after having volunteered his time as an assistant over the last two seasons. As a former Golden Eagle, LaPietra hopes to continue to instill the culture and core values of Brockport soccer in his players.

To start off the winter season, the Women’s Basketball staff welcomes Kharysma Bryant. Bryant comes to Brockport from DI Niagara University where she was a four-year member and two-year co-captain of the women’s basketball program. In addition to her athletic success, the Rochester native was a four-year All-Academic MAAC team recipient.

Former captain and athlete Morgan Flamholtz joins the spring staff as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles softball team. Flamholtz comes back to Brockport after completing her senior season where she capped off the year with a .316 batting average, recording 25 hits, 10 runs, and 16 RBIs as well as an NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete selection. The Wappingers Falls native has prior experience with the Beacon Xtreme Softball Travel Organization where she was an assistant coach for the 16 & Under age category.
