Canisius women’s lacrosse head coach Allison Daley announced the addition of Catherine Wall, of Spencerport, to the roster for the upcoming 2021 season. Wall is one of 10 first-year students added to the roster.
“We are thrilled to finally be adding these young women to our program,” Daley said. “All of these student-athletes will work to make an impact on our program over the next four years and it is our expectation that they will increase the competition within our program on a daily basis. Not only will these ladies make an impact on the field, but they will make an impact academically and within the Canisius community. We are excited to begin this journey with them.”
A defender for the women’s lacrosse team, Wall becomes a Griff following her high school career for Spencerport High School. She was a four-year varsity starter and a two-time team captain. Wall was named an All-Monroe County First Team selection following her sophomore and junior years. Additionally, Wall was the 2019 NYS Goalkeeper on the Year and helped lead her team to two state titles in soccer.
Wall is studying Special Education Grades 1-6/Childhood 1-6 at Canisius.
