Pineway Ponds Virtual and In-Person 5k Run/Walk a success

Over 140 participants joined the 2022 Pineway Ponds Virtual and In-Person 5k Run/Walk events, presented by Ogden Parks and Recreation and the Kiwanis Club of Spencerport. Sunny skies and cool temps were in play for the in-person event on Saturday, September 24, that featured loud cheers from fans and supporters and smiles from those crossing the finish line. 

The top finishers were:

Male: 1st – Tim Olmsted 

2nd – Jordan Hill 

3rd – Paul Glor 

Female: 1st – Erin Dragon 

2nd – Michaela Goettel 

3rd – Maria Mullen 

Many volunteers contributed to the success of this event, including Ogden Police, Ogden Special Police, Gates Ambulance, Spencerport Fire District, and Churchville Girls’ Soccer team. Partial proceeds from this year’s event benefited the Willie Bee Foundation.

Next year’s Pineway Ponds 5k Run/Walk is on the calendar for Saturday, September 23, 2023. Registration will open in late Spring, 2023.
