He led the Cowboys to four consecutive wins against the New York Giants, the Carolina Panthers, the Washington Commanders and the Seattle Seahawks. The Dallas Cowboys are Super Bowl contenders and Dak Prescott continues his remarkable performance as a possible favorite to win the MVP prize.
Other finalists for the month of November in order of how the NSMA ranked them included: Joel Embid (basketball), Ryan Blaney (auto racing), Tamirat Tola (running), CeeDee Lamb (football), Nikita Kucherov (hockey) and Kevin Durant (basketball) – tie, Max Verstappen (auto racing) and Cam Talbot (hockey) – tie, and Josh Jacobs (football).

It also makes him a candidate eligible to receive the 2023 overall award, joining Simone Biles, Adolis Garcia, Coco Gauf, Carlos Alcaraz, Nikola Jovic, Jon Rahm, Mikaela Shiffrin, Damien Lillard and other finalists throughout the year based on NSMA voting.
