Churchville-Chili sophomore Kyler Thomas (left) qualified for and competed in the NYS Swimming & Diving Championship meet which took place last weekend. The competition was held at Ithaca College and consisted of the best high school swimmers and divers in the state. This was Kyler’s first time competing at the state level. He was ranked 21st going into the competition and finished 14th, earning 7 points toward the Section V team total. Kyler finished his season as the second highest scoring diver in Churchville-Chili history and was named the team MVP for the second straight year.
