Brockport CSD athletes excel in spring season

Brockport student-athletes have excelled in recent weeks with a showcase of talent, determination and school spirit, delivering outstanding performances across a variety of sports.

BHS junior Ella Waite finished her NYS High School Rodeo season with tenacity, earning a state title. She placed first in Breakaway Roping, fifth in Goat Tying, and eighth All-Around Cowgirl.

BHS junior Samuel Schultz shot an 80 at Greystone Golf Course in Walworth, NY, qualifying him for the State Championship.

BHS senior Will Hawken took first place in the Lancer Invitational 110m High Hurdles, setting a meet and stadium record of 14.52 seconds.

BHS senior Stella Riley and BHS freshman Molly McJury placed first and third, respectively, in the Girls 400m Hurdles, while Mia Rugari earned first place in the 1500m run, achieving a personal best of 4:52.53. The relay team of Ella Pentz, Riley Carletta, Stella Riley, and Mia Rugari also took first place, going sub-10 minutes for the first time this season to secure the victory.
