Westside Challenger Tennis Offering Fall 2026 Session
The United States Tennis Association has twice recognized Westside Challenger Tennis as a program that advances equity, diversity, and inclusion within the context of strong tennis instruction. Now entering its tenth year, Westside Challenger Tennis is a free program that provides tennis opportunities for both school-aged athletes and young adults.
Westside Challenger Tennis will hold a Fall program for players with identifiable disabilities. Designed to ensure that all athletes receive instruction tailored to their individual skill level, the program is integrated, and all players are welcome. Westside Challenger Tennis is based on the United States Tennis Association motto that “people of all ages and abilities should have an opportunity to participate in the game of tennis.”
The program will take place on September 19, 26, and October 3, 2026, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Brockport Central School tennis courts or the SUNY Brockport Tuttle North back gyms (in case of rain). Participants should plan to attend all three dates. Specially trained tennis teachers will work with all participants and provide instruction tailored to a given participant’s ability. Equipment and refreshments will also be provided at no cost.
This program has a limited enrollment of 20 participants, accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Students with special needs will be given enrollment priority. Those who are interested are encouraged to request registration forms as soon as possible by emailing westsidechallengertennis@gmail.com.
Applications are due by September 14, 2026.
