Andréa G. Samere and Daniel D. Douglas were married June 22, 2013 in an outdoor ceremony performed by Michael McKenna, cousin of the bride, at the Pond at Marie’s Place in Clarkson. Andréa is the daughter of Joseph and Paula Samere of Clarkson. Daniel is the son of Marjorie Duesenberg of Winterset, Iowa and Danny and Jacqui Douglas of Aurora, Colorado.
Matron of honor was Jessica Roth, sister of the bride; and maid of honor was Sarah Stutzman, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kristyn Samere, sister-in-law of the bride, and Grace Cox, cousin of the bride. Hannah Samere, the bride’s niece, served as junior bridesmaid.
Jeffrey Rhoads, friend of the groom, served as best man. Joel Douglas and Kirk Douglas, brothers of the groom, and Joseph Taylor, brother-in-law of the groom, served as groomsmen. Elijah Stougard, brother of the groom, was the ring bearer.
Andréa is a graduate of Nyack College, Nyack, New York, and is employed as a nanny. Daniel, a graduate of Earlham High School, Earlham, Iowa, serves as a medic in the U.S. Army.
The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas and reside in Clarksville, Tennessee.
