The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Mary Young of Spencerport. The groom is the son of David and Suzanne LaPorta of Mount Morris.
Laura Larsen, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Michelle LaPorta, sister of the groom, Allison Floberg and Lauren Mangione. The best man was Zachary Riesenberger. The groomsmen were Americo DiCocco and Kristaffer DeHond.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Nazareth Academy. She graduated from Niagara University in 2007, earning a bachelor of science degree in computer and information science. Karen is employed as a web developer at Eileen Fisher, Inc. in Irvington, New York.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Gates Chili High School and a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering. He also earned a master of science degree in civil engineering from the University of Buffalo. Christopher is a land development assistant project engineer with The Chazen Companies in Poughkeepsie, New York.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia. They reside in East Fishkill, New York.
