Julie Ficarra and Samuel Avery were married Saturday, August 13, 2016 in a garden ceremony at the Springside Inn in Auburn, New York.
The proud parents are Anthony and Carole Ficarra of Syracuse; Jane Henion Avery of Brockport; and Keith Avery of Tioga, Pennsylvania.
Julie holds a master’s degree in International Education from Harvard University and currently teaches at Syracuse University, where she is a PhD candidate.
Sam holds an MFA in Video Production from the University of Buffalo and is a Professor at SUNY Cortland.
A vintage travel-inspired reception was held where guests were seated at tables named after the couple’s favorite places.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Quebec and reside in the village of Liverpool.
