I’m so happy to hear that Vanessa has finally been seen and her family has been heard in the fight for her life! This traumatic situation I’m sure will affect both her and her family forever but I’m hoping that will make their reunion someday that much more amazing.
Stories such as this are hard to see. While some animals are raised with love and training, others are taught to be aggressive BY THEIR OWNERS. This is not only unfair but it gives a reputation that is untrue but harmful the breed.
I do hope that the other animals suffering in the shelters that Vanessa was held in are also able to make their way to a sanctuary where they will be cared for and appreciated. No person or animal deserves to be treated or rather neglected in the way they have been.
