Bad Faith and Stealthy Politics

I have reached the point where I finally have to join those liberal/progressive Democrats who say that it has become impossible to have an honest, intelligent, and reasonable discussion and disagreement with conservative-Republicans about the issues of the day. Why?

Because Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman is correct when he says that many of them operate out of “bad faith.”

And because 12-time award-winning and prize-winning journalist Jane Mayer is correct when she says that many of them use and encourage others to use “stealth tactics” such as lying, making things up, spreading false and misinformation which they know is misinformation, being sneaky, being misleading, being deceiving, and being manipulative.

Both of them have also stated that many conservatives believe that reaching their goals justifies their use of any and all unethical and immoral means. They do not want to disagree with us “respectfully.” They are no longer capable of it. They are always going to believe what they want to believe. They don’t want to be bothered with the facts or truth.
