A.D Oliver Middle School presents Disney’s Little Mermaid JR.

A.D. Oliver Middle School will present Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. at the Brockport High School Auditorium on January 31 at 7 p.m., and February 1 at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Adapted from Disney’s Broadway production and the motion picture, the story follows a young mermaid, Ariel, who longs to leave her ocean home behind and live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she’s the girl whose enchanting voice he’s been seeking.

Come see OMS’ talented student performers bring this entertaining show to life. The cast includes more than 75 students involved in the production, contributing as cast members, crew and pit orchestra.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid JR. is based on the Hans Christian Andersen story that features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, a book by Doug Wright, with music adapted and arranged by David Weinstein. Disney’s Little Mermaid JR. is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI (http://www.mtishows.com).

Tickets are available for $8 at the OMS main office or at the door for $10.
