Vada E. (Fancher) Good

Vada E. (Fancher) Good, a beacon of creativity and selfless love, left our world on January 24, 2025, in Rochester, NY, just shy of her 91st birthday. Born on February 24, 1934, in Perry, NY, Vada’s life was a rich tapestry of family, music, and service to others.

The Good family of Brockport/Greece announces with deep sorrow yet immense gratitude for her extraordinary life, that Vada passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends. Her departure was preceded by the loss of her beloved husband, Robert, and siblings Sandy Heins, Nancy Tucker, James Fancher, and John Fancher.

Vada’s legacy lives on through her devoted daughter, Laurie (Craig) Freeman, her caring son, Robert (Dina) Good, her cherished grandchildren, Brian (June) Freeman, Samantha (Kyle) Mackowiak, and Stephanie (Larry) Good, and her adored great-grandchildren, Aspen Freeman and Cameron Mackowiak. She also leaves behind her sister, Jane Stephens, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends, all of whom felt the warmth of her generous spirit. Bella, her beloved cat, will miss her comforting presence.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 1st from 2-5 pm at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport. Internment and a celebration of life will be held in the Spring. Please direct any donations to Mr. Grey’s Strays or the National Kidney Foundation.
