The Brockport Lions Club challenged its members to bring donations for the Food Shelf to its bi-monthly meetings.
The membership exceeded expectations by bringing in 89 pounds of food. The Food Shelf is seeing increasing numbers of families seeking help and the Lions want to make sure there is enough to go around for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday and beyond.
The challenge continues at the Club’s next meeting when they hope to go over the 145 pound mark.
