•Hines, Janice L., Chili, 71, died September 13, 2014 in Virginia after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and her parents Edward and Edythe Poerschke. Janice is survived by her son Brian (wife Michelle) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and her son Scott (wife Kim) of Newport News, Virginia; sister Nancy Hamilton (husband Gary) of Canton, Georgia; brother Roger Poerschke (wife Marilyn) of Springdale, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends. She is Grandma to Timothy, Hagen and Soren. Janice retired in 2002 from Gates-Chili Central School District as a bus driver after 27 years.
A Celebration of her Life was held November 29 at The Caledonia Village Inn, followed by a private burial. Donations can be made to the Wilmot Cancer Institute – U of R Medical Center in her memory.
