Clarendon: Gale A. Gurgir, age 83, passed away suddenly on February 20, 2025 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.
She was born in Brockport, NY on June 10, 1941, to the late Edwin Sylvester and Florence Maude (Scott) Smith. She is survived by her sons, Dwight (Cathy), Darryl (Sally), Dwayne (Lisa) and Darrin (Anne); several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Betty Webster, husbands Lorenzo J. Winkley and Edward H. Gurgir. She was a 1959 graduate of Brockport High School.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Graveside Service at the convenience of the family and a Celebration of Gale’s life will be held at a later date.
