The Town of Hamlin has developed a draft Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan. The primay goal of the plan is to establish strategies to protect valuable farmland from development pressures and ensure it remains available for agricultural use in the future. The complete draft plan is now available online at www.hamlinny.org/news.
A public information meeting about the plan will be held Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in the Hamlin Town Hall Gym, 1658 Lake Road, Hamlin.
