In addition to her accreditation and teaching experience, Craft has played a key role in the promotion and growth of Winona State’s online degree completion programs in business administration and human resources — contributing to significant enrollment growth in those programs. She has previously been a co-owner and principal strategist of a consulting firm that specialized in safety and human resource management.

“Dr. Craft brings a mix of business and academic experience that will allow her to lead the School of Business and Management in alignment with SUNY Brockport’s strategic goals, especially as it relates to our efforts to offer our students an outstanding learning experience and our commitment to engaging with our community,” said Dr. Martin Abraham, Brockport’s provost and vice president for academic affairs.

Craft holds a PhD in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, a Master of Arts in Management from The College of St. Scholastica, and a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University Bakersfield. Her research areas include ethical decision making, qualitative research, organizational behavior, and ethical cultures.

“I’m thrilled to join SUNY Brockport to lead the School of Business and Management, a talented community committed to student success and regional impact. My vision is to strengthen what we already do well by focusing on strategic growth, innovative partnerships, and telling our story,” said Craft. “I’m especially passionate about expanding access through programs like degree completion and supporting faculty as we meet the evolving needs of students and employers. I’m honored to help lead the School of Business and Management into its next chapter.”

Craft takes over for Michael Doyle, who has served as interim dean of the School of Business and Management since 2022 after a distinguished career at Entercom that culminated as Regional President/President of Sales Operations. She will begin her new role on July 17.
