The Lions Club of Chili is off to a strong start for Lion Year 2025-2026. Club members performed vision eye screenings for children at the Celebrate Churchville-Chili event on September 12. They screened 38 children and referred six to follow up with their doctor. Participating Lions were Debbie Mancini, Keri Neathawk, Larry Lazenby, Bert Maggio, Sherry Vitale, and Cristina Candelaria.
Chili Lions also attended Chili Recreation’s Fall Festival at Davis Park on Saturday September 27. They had two raffles, one a 50/50 raffle and the other a fall basket raffle. They had a coloring contest for the younger children and older kids were able to make their own name keychains. Lions also offered information about their club and the work they do in the community.
