Tops Launches Campaign Early
In response to the recent pause in SNAP benefits, Tops Friendly Markets has launched its 19th Annual Food for Families campaign earlier than usual to help ensure that no one in the community goes hungry. The campaign dedicated to assisting neighbors facing food insecurity will provide critical support to Foodlink and food pantries throughout the region during a time of increased need.
“Our Food for Families campaign has always been about giving back to the communities we serve,” said Ron Ferri, President of Tops Friendly Markets. “We are here to help support our neighbors during this trying time and want to ensure that no one has to wonder where their next meal will come from and that they are able to have access to affordable and nutritious items through our partners at local food pantries.”
Through this campaign, Tops invites customers to donate at the register through December 24, 2025. Donations of Little Brown Bags of Hope can be made in $5, $10, or $20 increments, or customers can round up their transaction. Additionally, donations can be made online at www.topsneighborshelpingneighbors.com to support a family in the community. Online, one can even select the food bank their donation will support. These Little Brown Bags are filled with nutritious items that can help a family stretch a meal even further.
