CHURCHVILLE: Barnard, Evelyn Esther (Deming), of Conesus Lake and Churchville, was born October 17, 1931, in Rochester, deceased October 31, 2025. Evelyn married her Monroe High School sweetheart, James A. Barnard, on May 21, 1949, in Rochester, where they started their life journey together, which lasted for over 54 years. In 1952, the family moved to North Chili, where they became part of the community and members of Pearce Church and the Chili Fire Department family, serving for over 50 years. In 1972, they worked together to start Jim Barnard Chevrolet in Churchville and built a reputable community-focused small business that continues to thrive today in its third generation of family operation. Evie enjoyed gardening, genealogy research, completing newspaper crossword puzzles each day, playing card games, teaching herself to play the organ, singing, boating on Conesus Lake, camping all over the U.S., and traveling the world with Jim. Predeceased by husband, James; parents, George and Emily (Clark) Deming; brother, Melville Deming; sisters, Grace VonHold, Sylvia Paul, and infant Shirley Deming; sons-in-law, Paul Plummer and Robert DeLamarter. Survived by son, James (Donna); daughter, Barbara DeLamarter; son, Allyn (Valerie); son, Andrew (Kathleen); grandchildren, Nate (Tammikka) Barnard, Emily Barnard, Jacob Barnard, Cristian Plummer, Matthew Plummer, Adam (Whitney) Plummer, Timothy Barnard, Nicole (PJ) Connors, Laura (Brian) Lang, Chelsea (Andrew) Fink, and David Barnard (Michael Chiponis); 11 great-grandchildren; cousins, William (Doris) Deming of Florida, and Ethel Mae (William) Nelson of Arkansas; several nieces and nephews. Evie was a member of Pearce Church of North Chili and past President of the Chili Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Her Funeral Service was held on November 6 at Pearce Church, North Chili. Contributions can be made to Homesteads for Hope of Rochester (https://www.homesteadsforhope.org/) in her memory. Arrangements entrusted to the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, Chili.

HAMLIN: Pareschi, Eugene R., died October 30, 2025, at age 90. Predeceased by his wife, Carol; daughter, Gena Pareschi; and sister, Eleanor (Joseph) Incavo. He is survived his sons, Brian (Maureen) and Barton (Lisa); grandchildren, Sierra, Jacqueline, Isabella, Elizabeth, and Ronan; and many nieces and nephews. Gene served in the United States Army.

His Funeral Service was held November 7 at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., Brockport. Interment will be held in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin.

HOLLEY: Bissonette, Cynthia, age 71, died October 27, 2025. Cynthia was born September 23, 1954, in Brockport, a daughter of the late Peter and Rose Marie (Decker) Pasch. She was predeceased by her parents; grandparents, Andrew and Rose Decker; loving sister, Susan “Sissy” Pasch; and special feline, Kitty Boy. Cynthia is survived by her son, Kevin Loden; granddaughter, Layla Loden; siblings, Andrew (LuAnn) Pasch and Patricia Ortega; nephews, Michael Furness (Shellie Sicurella), Andrew Pasch, Robert Pasch (Jackie Fallato); great-niece, Leah Pasch; special friend, Michelle Richmond; best friend of 40 plus years, Theresa Seigle-Erkila; cousins, the Leverenz family, Ardie (Linda), Ronnie, Stewart (Marsha), Cathy (Gary). Cynthia was a receptionist for State Farm Insurance. She loved collecting peacock figurines, unicorns, and cobalt glass.

Holley: Mayer, Joanne G., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Highland Hospital at the age of 88.  Predeceased by her parents, William and Mary Mayer, and sister, Kathleen Mayer.  She is survived by her loving brother, Kenneth Mayer; special niece, Kenna (Brian) McNamara; grandnieces, Ryan and Caitlin McNamara; as well as many nieces and cousins.

Joanne retired from Chase Pitkin.  In retirement, Joanne worked at the Holley Library part-time as an aide.  She was a member of Nativity Church.

Services will be held privately in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Joanne’s honor. Arrangements entrusted to Fowler Funeral Home Inc.

HOLLEY: Morreall, Mark J. “Flash,” died suddenly on October 29, 2025. He was born in Rochester on December 25, 1955, to the late Ward and Ethel Morreall. He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Janet Maines, and her husband, Harry Maines. He is survived his wife of 41 years, Susan; his daughter, Kelsey Morreall; his son, Sean (Shelby) Morreall; his brother, Fred Morreall; his sister, Carol Nowry; his father-in-law, Kermit (Pamela) Mercer; sister-in-law, Debbie (John) Mercer; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and so many people he has helped over the years. Mark was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was an active member of the Holley American Legion and the VFW. Mark was a talented artist, a master at wood carvings, and loved to write poems. Mark was always there to help, had many friends through his meeting groups, and was truly loved by many.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Mark will be held at the New Hope Community Church (formerly Medina Baptist Church), at a time to be announced in the near future. Private interment with Military Honors will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Albion Cemetery. KENDALL: Knapp, M. Joette, age 96, died November 1, 2025. She was born June 16, 1929, in Salamanca, NY, to Floyd and Mary (Fuss) Schwalb. Mrs. Knapp was predeceased by her husband, Yorke F. Knapp, whom she married June 21, 1952, and her beloved “Patches.” She is survived by her children, Nyan Fackelman of Tonawanda, Yorke B. (Donna) Knapp of Colorado; her grandchildren, Anna Knapp, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Karl, Chelsey (Shawn) Cantie; and six great-grandchildren. Joette graduated from Salamanca High School in 1947 and graduated from Millard Fillmore School of Nursing in 1951. Following graduation, Joette took a job at Arnold Gregory Memorial Hospital in Albion. While at Arnold Gregory, she was also the assistant manager of the TWIG Gift Shop. She served as Head Nurse Supervisor for the Red Cross Blood Bank in Kendall for over 30 years. Joette was a 50+ year member of the Kendall Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary and served as the Town of Kendall Historian from 1999 to 2012. She was also a 50+ year member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall, serving on the church council and several committees.

KENDALL:  Wilson, Betty T., age 106, died October 29, 2005. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Wilson; brother, Lloyd Thornell; grandson, Joey Wilson; and son-in-law, Mike Kepler. She is survived by her children, Sally (John) Sober, Martha Jane (Robert) Hart, Marianne Kepler, and Robert Lloyd (Sandra) Wilson; nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; nieces, Susan Baker (John) Baptista, Sandy Peregine, and Dona (Mark) Maynard; and special friend, Ken DeRoller. After graduating from Pittsford High School, Betty went to work at Eastman Kodak in the Camera Works Department, which during WWII became a munitions factory where Betty assembled nose cones for bombs. Her only brother, Lloyd, became a decorated fighter pilot and went down in the North Sea on February 3, 1944. Betty married Robert C. Wilson on March 15, 1947. They moved to Kendall and began life together on his family farm on Center Road. Betty was an active member of the Kendall Methodist Church and a well-loved member of the Thursday Morning Breakfast Club. Betty will be long remembered for her kindness, as well as her strength and determination. She was a firm believer in keeping active and continued with her exercises even as the end drew near.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 11 a.m. at the Kendall Methodist Church, 1808 Kendall Road, Kendall, with a lunch immediately following. Interment in Beechwood Cemetery, Kendall, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, Holley. OGDEN: Pollotta, Mackenzie M. “Kenzie,” died suddenly on November 3, 2025, at the age of 29. Predeceased by grandparents, Ray and Ann Schafer, and Anthony and Margaret Pollotta; and uncle, Scott Schafer. Survived by her parents, Chris and Dawn; brother, Zachary (Madeline Priester); aunts and uncles, Rob (Francine) Pollotta, David (Antoinette) Pollotta, Kathy (Joe) Alongi, Dennis (Lori) Pollotta, Linda (George) Dandrea, and Don Schafer; many cousins; dear friends; and her favorite furry friends, Bailey, Luna, and Ripley. 
Mackenzie, Kenzie, or Kenz. No matter what you called her, if you had the pleasure of knowing her, you should know she was the sunflower that could light up any room. She was loving, caring, and always put others before herself. Kenzie loved being surrounded by her friends and family, no matter the occasion. She could make any place her happy place, including the cottage, sunflower field, tie-dye table, or even just the backyard, sunbathing with her favorite dogs.  
Her Funeral Service is Saturday, November 8, 10 a.m., at Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home, followed by Internment at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kenzie’s name may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
