BROCKPORT: Breslawski, Nancy Lee Baker, age 94, died on November 22, 2025, following a brief illness. Nancy was a pillar of the Brockport community, who had lived there for 70 years and raised 10 children with her late husband, Dan. Nancy and Dan owned Brockport Main Appliance until their retirement in 2007. Nancy was a gifted seamstress and artist and taught classes to share her many talents with others. She was active in SilverSneakers and the local senior center, an avid button collector, and a member of several button clubs. Born to Leon and Lena Baker in Rochester, NY, Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Dan; daughter, Lynne; and brother, Fred Baker. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon (Bud) Howarth, Karen (Phillips), Donna, Christine (Steven) Skubis, and Gwyn; sons, Terry (Dolores), Steven (Kim), David (Jillayne), and Jay (Jodi); 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Fred) Baxendell and Carol (Dean) Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Fowler Funeral Home in Brockport on Saturday, December 20, from 1 to 3 p.m. Donations in Nancy’s name can be made to Mercy Flight, Open Door Mission, or the Cobblestone Museum.

BROCKPORT/ORCHARD PARK: Sroka, Shirley A., died on December 2, 2025, at age 78.  She was predeceased by her parents, William Hoppe and Edith Knab; sister, Dorothy (Leland) Howell; and brother, Robert Hoppe. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mark Sroka; nephews, Craig (Ann) Howell, David (Debbie) Hoppe, William Hoppe (Heather Repec), Paul (Kim) Steger, and Skip Steger; niece, Michelle (Bobby) Iwankow; great-niece, Ashley (Ethan) Poirier; cousin, Karen Kabel; sister-in-law, Karen Hoppe; and Smokey the cat.

Shirley’s Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Fowler Funeral Home Inc., 340 West Avenue, Brockport. Contribution in Shirley’s memory can be made to Mr. Grey’s Strays, a cause close to her heart, at https://www.mrgreysstrays.com/waystohelp.

CHILI: Hopkins, Shirley C., died on December 6, 2025, at age 90. She was predeceased by her husband, Garold “Hoppy;” brother, Daniel Clark; and son-in-law, Donny Wacenske. She is survived by her children, Bradley (Barbara), Bruce (Maryjo), Bart (Roberta), Brian (Regina), Barb (Don) Duritza, and Beth Wacenske; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Shirley dedicated her life to her family who will honor her memory by keeping her traditions alive. 

 
Private service and Interment will be held at the convenience of the convenience. Arrangements entrusted to Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home in Chili.

CHILI: Huebbers, Carl G. III, died on December 2, 2025, at age 47. He was predeceased by his uncle, Jimmy Fraley. He is survived by his daughter, Maddie; parents, Carl Jr. and Elsie; brother, Justin (Nicole); dog, Loki; aunts and uncles, Bradley (Kerry) Huebbers, Christopher Huebbers, Debbie (Paul) Cebula, Cathy Fraley, Cindy (Leon) Tarasiewicz, Jerry Fraley, Bridget (Paul) Ratajczak, Sandy (David) Mellerski, and Brian Fraley; and many cousins and dear friends. He attended St. Pius X Church and was a student athlete at Aquinas Institute. He earned a degree in Biology from Canisius College and later attended Bryant and Stratton College to become a physical therapy assistant, a job which he both loved and thrived at. He made an amazing difference in many of his patients’ lives.


Visitation was held on December 12 at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home in Chili. Donations in Carl’s memory can be made to the Verona Street Animal Shelter, c/o Rochester Animal Services, 184 Verona Street, Rochester, NY 14608.

CHURCHVILLE: Pharoah, Dorothy Leibeck, age 88, died on December 8, 2025. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Bessie Leibeck; husband, James M. Pharoah; siblings, Jessie Moore, James Leibeck, and John Leibeck; and grandson, Tommy Pharoah. She is survived by her children, Jim (Kathy) Pharoah, Jacquelyn (Charlie) Longhany, Tim (Barb) Pharoah, Tom Pharoah, and Joey (Jen) Pharoah; grandchildren, Shannon (Jim) Harris, Jamie Pharoah, Katie (Sean Lantry), Jimmy Pharoah, James (Dakota) Gallagher, Kellie (Mark) McDermitt, John (Kim) Gallagher, Blaze (Melissa) Pharoah, Blake Pharoah, Ashley (Thomas Pimm) Pharoah, Dana Pharoah, and Josie Pharoah; 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Dorothy worked for many years as a nurse at Rochester General and Strong Memorial. After retirement from nursing, Dorothy went on to drive a school bus for Churchville-Chili for over 20 years and won coveted bus rodeo trophies.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 15, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 21 South Main Street, Churchville. Her Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 16, 10 a.m., at St. Martin de Porres at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 11 North Main Street, Churchville.

CHURCHVILLE: Watkins, Shauna L., age 46, died on December 5, 2025. She was predeceased by her mother, Doris Rossiter; brother, Jason Watkins; and many other family members and friends. Shauna is survived by her daughter, Kennedy Watkins; father, Wes Watkins; grandmother, nephews, aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends. Shauna earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology and her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Niagara University.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Walker Brothers Funeral Home, 21 South Main Street, Churchville. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Creekside Cemetery, North Main Street, Churchville. Friends are invited to a gathering at Churchville American Legion, 6444 Buffalo Road, Churchville, after the burial.

HILTON: Lockwood, Francis “Fran” W., age 86, died on December 6, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife, Louise Somora Lockwood; his children, Timothy (Donna) Lockwood, Dawn Driffill, Nene (James) Fyfe, Robert (Melissa) Lockwood, and Tracey Gaines; son-in-law, Don Maddalena; grandchildren, Shadow (Amber) Alaimo, Lucian Young, and Caitlyn O’Reilly; brother, Nick (Judy) DiSalvo; as well as several nieces and nephews. Francis was predeceased by his parents, William and Hazel VanHouten; son, Rick Lockwood; daughter, Leisa Maddalena; and several siblings. Fran was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and spent his career as a model-maker for Xerox Corporation in Rochester. He will be remembered for his humor, ingenuity, and the warmth he brought to those around him.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Prayers and family remembrances celebrating Fran’s life will take place at 2 p.m. Contributions in Fran’s memory can be made to the Veterans Outreach Center Inc., 447 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
