Union Church UCC is welcoming Eliecia Young as its new pastor.
“My passion for ministry reaches beyond the walls of the church and into the heart of the community,” Pastor Young said. “Guided by Matthew 25:34–40 and Micah 6:8, I seek to serve and love all people by doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God.”
She has a background in business, community engagement, and assistant pastoral leadership, and is grateful for the opportunity to journey with Union Church and to work alongside the wider community.
“I deeply value and welcome diversity, beautifully reflected in God’s creation, and believe it strengthens our shared witness of God’s love in the world,” Pastor Young added. “I look forward to getting to know Churchville and the surrounding area by building relationships with the people who make this such a meaningful place to live, work, shop, and explore.”
