Nominations Open for the Jerry J. Helfer Youth Engagement Scholarship

The Town of Greece is now accepting nominations for the Jerry J. Helfer Youth Engagement Scholarship, an award established to honor the legacy of former Deputy Supervisor Jerry Helfer and to recognize outstanding young leaders in our community.

This scholarship provides the Greece community with the opportunity to recognize a student who regularly upholds exemplary moral values, devotes time and energy to serving others, and consistently demonstrates outstanding leadership skills. The award celebrates students who embody the spirit of service and civic engagement that Jerry Helfer championed throughout his life.

“We are proud to continue honoring Jerry Helfer’s legacy by recognizing young people who are already making a meaningful difference in our community,” said Supervisor McCann. “This scholarship shines a light on students who lead by example and demonstrate a commitment to service beyond themselves.”
