HAMLIN: Baker, Charlene A., diedApril 20, 2026, at age 83. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ray E. Baker; parents, Frank and Dorothy Nupp; and brother, Jim Nupp. She is survived by children, Ray (Debbie) Baker Jr., Ed (Tammy) Baker, and Dan (Wendy) Baker; grandchildren, Daniel, Tommy, Samantha (Trevor), Eddie (Domenique), Crystal, John, and Jacob; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Brenda (Bruce) Livingston and Marilyn Nupp; and sisters-in-law, Mary Nupp and Kay Luksic. Charlene worked for many years as a tax preparer for H&R Block. In her free time, she found joy in life’s simple pleasures—taking long walks with her husband, especially along the shores of Hamlin Beach, tending to her vegetable garden, and spending quiet moments immersed in a good book.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family with a private interment. Donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown,PA 18901, in Charlene’s memory. Arrangements entrusted to the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Hilton.
