Bonnie B. (Shufelt) Hafner
HILTON: Hafner, Bonnie B. (Shufelt), died April 16, 2026, at age 83. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald Shufelt; parents, George and Lillian Barrett; brother, George Barrett; sister, Joyce Osburn; and daughter-in-law, Alexis Shufelt. She is survived by her beloved husband, Roy H. Hafner; six children, Sandy (Paul) Koch, Ronald Shufelt, Robert (Karen) Shufelt, Sharon Paige, Debra (Keith) Bane, and Roy (Tanya) Hafner Jr.; eight grandchildren, Lisa (Michael) Silverstein, Kristen Koch, Megan (Kyle) Derry, Chelsy (Clint) Kelsey, Nicholas Hodge, Colby Hodge, Harmony Hafner, and Robby Stevenson; two great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Raymond) Meier; and loving nieces and nephews. Bonnie dedicated 15 years as a school bus driver for the Hilton Central School District. She found great joy in life’s simple pleasures—especially her trips to the sunny beaches of Florida, quiet moments spent birdwatching, and shopping outings.
Friends are invited to call on Friday, April 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Avenue, Hilton. Bonnie’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 25, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 East Avenue, Hilton. Interment in Parma Union Cemetery.
